Great start and nice documentation. Wish I had done the same on my build.
I started my liquid diet and so far it seems to be working! I've already lost two days.

Nice work. I like your solution for the fish mouths on the site glasses. I used a pipe fitters pattern and a 4" grinder.
I still had to sand the heck out of them on a piece emory cloth taped to the 4" pipe I was fitting it to.
You method is WAY more elegant and I bet they fit better than mine fro the get go. :handgestures-thumbupright:
Nice build keep us updated.

Sweet. Youll be glad you documented your build. Looking good so far. What kind of plates are you going to put in there?

Lol well i have 2 old 13 gal stainless steel cream cans left from the days when we milked so I will be using them for the test runs and smaller batches. The 3" flute should produce around a gal per hr if i did the math right :confusion-shrug: lol. Along with producing drinkable sprit the plan is to produce fuel for the small equipment mowers ECT. We have already run my modified racing kart on ethanol and it actually produced a bit more power than it did on methanol and ran cooler. I have thought about using a 30 gal Stainless drum but they are almost as much as the 55’s @ $160.00 plus 65 for shipping.

I worked on the plates today with help from Mrs.Shiney seems she was not to impressed when she came home and found my baby 8inch drill press on the kitchen table drilling away.
We have had a cold streak return to Mich for a few days i couldn't justify warming up the shop just for 4 plates lol may have to change the name here to Shiney Hiney :laughing-rolling: Web site has been updated http://www.shiney92.net23.net/
Thanks to all
