My new 8 inch bubbler has arrived

Postby the Doctor » Thu Aug 29, 2013 4:25 pm

I am one happy chap today, as our new 5 Star, 8 inch still has arrived. And as you can see she is a thing of beauty. I am still designing our new boiler. but I cant wait to give this sweet column a run. Thanks Mac for great service and effortless delivery. This is every thing I had hoped for and more. At last we should be able to keep up with demand. I just cannot believe the attention to detail. brilliant.

That is a beast very nice Doc , looking forward to some results. I have always liked the parrot with a drain i feel it would reduce smearing .

Enjoy :obscene-drinkingcheers:

Just out of curiosity Doc, how does distilled hardwood floor taste?

So when do you plan to take her up for flight testing?

Question for you doc. Does this alcometer fit the ones you have to use? I remember you having problems with your 4" column parrot.

Cheers mate

Oh and love the bar, I'm trying to convince the wife that we have to head down your way for a visit. Only when the newborn gets a little older she says......

Not yet mate but Mac is getting a custom parrot made for the professional French Alcometers. Great service considering the trouble he has gone to. It should come with the new boiler I guess.

Hi Doc,

We're so glad you're happy with the still, it makes us very proud when we hear such positive comments from experienced distillers.

Thank you

That is a thing of beauty, do you have plans on adding to it in the future? I am thinking since it's modular do you plan on using it for multiple types of alcohol!
I started my liquid diet and so far it seems to be working! I've already lost two days.

Bushy I will be adding 1 plate then a 400mm long packed section, 300 litre boiler and then I will be using it as a dedicated vodks still. I am reconfiguring my old boiler and 4 inch to handle whiskey and gin. The big guy will be clean in place (simple hose up the arm) with a citric/ percarbonate bath then 3 cycle commercial dishwasher every 6 months or so. Thats the plan.

Ommpa loompas only travel by chocolate submarine. They are scared of vermichios knids.
But they dont need to sign up to workplace agreements.
You really should dilute that absinthe yummy.
