8pc 4” reflux cooler in copper hard solder and tig welded with a number of direction plates for cooling water path through these for maximum heating / cooling changeover, this is made to cool and controll the 8" refluxcooler with max 16500watt and 400L mash

I have also started to made 2pc 4” reflux cooler with 2” side outlet for to “save hight”…

4pc 28mm 11cm long pipe inside is enough for 100L mash and 5500watt power…

Image

Hard solder require much “ heat” and that made copper dirty so now it,s time for a bath before made any more with this….

I've noticed your work "style" is very similar to mine.

You have a dozen projects all in various stages of completion. For ME it is because I like to see all things moving forward. If something is not started it will never get done.

I like this method because eventually everything will come together, and be finished.

I have projects I am working on at the same time, and I am rather happy to add a piece here, and paint a part there... Everything deserves a little attention. When all the projects are finished at roughly the same time... I can enjoy all of them.

KUDOS Mr. Harley!

Yes, this is my way of doing things and a rely like it because as you say, suddenly all is finish at the same time…

I have many parts “up and going” at the same time.. then it is not so boring and tomorrow a shall start with a new 4 plate 8” sieve copper column for tasted products and maybe this shall be finish before a continue with my 2pc reflux cooler in 4” we shall se that..

You now, tomorrow is a new day ;-))) and a get lot of copper sheet parts “over” when a made my round 8” plates then a made something of them and 4” is a good size to use for this small pieces of copper sheet that are over fits there perfect and a also made some 2” and 4” round roof/top to my single bubblecaps from this small sheet parts.

I cant help… it but a rely love to work with copper and hard solder... it is so easy and get so good and strong.

Normally a cnc stans/punc all copper plate but when a only need 3-4pc then it is faster to made them "manually"

I just wish I had 1/2 the tools you have. Building anything becomes a pleasure with the right tools.

Well I guess I have the stuff I need for what I do so, overall I'm pretty happy doing what I do. I would almost kill for a quality TIG welder tho. I have a brain full of projects just waiting for the right one to come along.

What do you say about that solution ... from United States

Should work well both for vodka, whiskey, rom and other flavored products ....

Only one/if you "finds" a suitable height for the Whisky end of flavored products / whiskey so you can do it with just one run from one 6 "-8" column about 2-3meter high, packed column with 10x10x0,5mm pallet ring and with a reflux condenser on top ....

Self so I would "begin" to add Whisky tube/pipe exit height of about 80cm, which feels like a good starting height together with these 10x10x0,5mm pallet ring to bring out the whiskey and rum with an appropriate strength for barrel storage and the only 1st driving/distilling and without reflux, a single passage through approximately 80cm high bed with these pallet rings ...

Of course we need a 3 way tap the reflux condenser for this to work ...

This solution a rely must test out....

Now it is almost zero power left in the citric acid bath, but it has passed some copper through it too ...
1liter citron accid to 160liter of water is it in this bath...

These 2pc 4 "reflux condenser with side output has been in the bath over 5 days and tomorrow, I hope that they are clean ...

Time to change to new fresh bath ....

I have received some questions about what it takes to get a facility that is approved for use in alcohol production in the EU ...

Inside EU we all Legally must follow this law/ demands to made and use distilling plants…

Simple explained…
ATEX/EX classified electric heaters and a safety valve that also are ATEX/EX classified and Below 0,5bar/kg and NO other electric parts on the boiler or Inside the ATEX/EX zone around the boiler…..

WOW!

That's a great volume and 3mm copper, this will be a thing of beauty.
When can we expect to see the first progress photos?

I've got a 254mm diameter copper tube that site 1.73m high...carefully considering my options.

If you shall go for sieve plate than eath 2,0 mm hole need 30watt to works optimum.... when it is 100% sealed to the columnwall...

5500 watt = 180pc 2,0mm hole
