Valve design...

I forgot I had this DWG. It's a very simple valve built into an upside down Bubble Cap.
Just thought I would post it up.

Just to support the PTFE bushing. It's something everyone has access to... I figure a bunch of holes drilled into it or large windows cut for vapor pathway.

Just a real simple thing...

is the bubble cap soldered to the plate ?

if yes how do you get the bush into the hole without cooking it with heat?

if no is the conical valve on a thread and screwed into the bubble cap so it can be assembled ?
it would then need to be perforated on the conical valve ?

or expand the hole so you drop in the bush ?

interesting idea but just figuring the build

Well the bushing can be installed after soldering the cap the the bottom side of the plate. The bushing uses an "E" clip on the outside of the cap as a retainer (in a slot type deal).

or expand the hole so you drop in the bush ? correct
The valve can be made in any old mannor... Screw together/ solder on a cap/ whatever... Another E clip as a retainer on the bottom is all that is needed.
