An idea about stilling on the grain with an electric element

An idea about stilling on the grain with an electric element

Would putting the grains in a "thumper" while having a straight water charge in the "boiler" achieve the desired results? It strikes me as kinda a caveman and potentially inefficient approach, but then again, we're not after commercial level results. The "thumper" would have to be larger than the traditional thumper as we usually understand it, and the boiler would almost certainly need a sight glass to make sure you're not depleting it to the point of jeopardizing the element.
