Few Firsts today.
First stripping run of a Malted Pilsner mush that I cooked through my new HERMS unit I built.
First drips had just started then it sprayed out foam & green liquid. So shut it down & disconnected the pipe work & washed it out.
Put a few teaspoons of olive oil in the keg & started again. No Prob !
Now up to nearly 8 litres & it's just above 22% ABV output.
Only had the normal charge of 38ish Litres & same temp settings as last stripping run I did but it still happened.
The next batch that's waiting to be stripped I might try & get in first by adding the olive oil before I attach the pot head.
