Cooking malted Corn?

Cooking malted Corn?

If making a corn mash using all dry malted corn, will it be necessary to "cook" it? Or just adding water and stirring it up be enough?

I've never used malted corn but the enzymes created during the malting process of any grain will be destroyed by to high of a temperature.
You want to work you way the through a few temperature rests and not exceed 75° c until you have full conversion.
Look up rest temperatures or any of the solid all grain recipes. :obscene-drinkingcheers:
