Thought I'd post one of my favourite easy drinking recipes for the hotter weather.

Half-Wit Chinook

OG - 1047
Size - 29L
Efficiancy - 70%
IBU - 29 (slightly higher for no chilling)
Mash - 65' - 1 hour
Ferment - 18'

48.4% Wheat Malt
48.4% Maris Otter
3.1% Pale Crystal

10g Chinook - First Wort
20g Chinook - 15 Mins
30g Chinook - 5 Mins

Safale - S04

Works well with most fruity hops, I'm going to try it with Galaxy next

It's a good beer to drink young too, which is very helpful to an inpatient pisspot like me :P

not wanting to sound like a style nazi but to be a wit, it really does need a wit yeast.

i personally havent tried the WLP equivalent but the WY3944 provides an excellent balance of esters and spice for a good wit i would also recommend using a bit of flaked/rolled/raw wheat in your recipes (20-30%) to get a bit of tartness/bite. last wit i brewed i threw in a kilo of spelt flour. i am about to bottle the results but initial tastings are very promising.
all i get from the weizen yeasts is either excessive banana or clove and i am not a fan of either in a beer
the key to productivity is to rotate your avoidance techniques

To be honest I've jammed it into a slot it doesn't really fit because I like the name  but I like the S04 on this as it doesn't leave too much of an impression.
