Tapa Talk is popular with those like to use it. It's a pain in the ass for everyone else.

If it had no affect on everyone else I would not care. But since it is not forum neutral I vote no.

It's kinda like having a smoking section in a restaurant with no walls between the sections.

I find Tapatalk is much more user friendly than using safari on smart phones which is why I vote yes

Still don't like the idea of creating issues for others that don't use it though, surely there is something that can be done to switch off the pop up? :? Would be good to clarify that before a decision is made.
I don't like second hand smoke either ;-)

HD is on Taptalk and I hate it. I am actually pissed I spent the 1.99 on the app. I am happy with safari. Now for those that like it, go for it. Ill just stick to safari

I downloaded it and tried it out on HD. Used it for a couple days. Then uninstalled it. I will stick with the regular site. And my phone is the only way I browse these forums. Been that way for nearly two years.

Tap talk. I like HD. Wouldn't be where I am now with out HD. There are a handful of people there like PP that makes that place a great place to start off and on to the next level.

There is a way to have Tapatalk & not have the annoying popup
Simply remove the tapatalkdetect.js file.
Once the file is removed no one will get the pop up.
There is supposed to be an option in a future Tapatalk upgrade that gives the option to turn off instead of deleting the tapatalkdetect.js file but just deleting the file works. 8-)
Looks like a win/win situation

I'm new to Android, and I like it. Still kind of wobbly.... I still have trouble hitting the right spot  Is this app supposed to make it easier to browse and post on the forum? I'm not familiar with it but I'd try it if was accepted here.I've liked some of the apps I've tried and hated some.

I find using Tapatalk much more user friendly than Safari on my iPhone, I hit the wrong button often while on here
I'm on a few other forums that have Tapatalk & it's all I use when accessing by smartphone 8-)

I have used it with other forums on iPhone, iPad and Samsung galaxy ( android) and hate it. Happier to use the normal format, but if a handful of ppl like it then its worth a go.
