Keg conversion

Postby TheGekko77 » Fri Feb 01, 2013 3:09 am

All,
I just received my keg and I am going to start calling around local welders to get some connectors put in.
I want to make sure I put the right things in!

Here is what I want:
1) Connector for heating element (I ordered the SD Element Guard Kit)
2) Drain on side toward the bottom with a ball valve (I am not going to put legs on it)
3) Larger fill hole on the top...maybe w sight glass?

I would like to use tri-clamps for the heating element and the fill hole.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

I used a one inch half connector for both my electrical and my drain, with the drain I then added a one inch ball valve works great.

I started my liquid diet and so far it seems to be working! I've already lost two days.
